Our mission is to build a bridge between manufacturers, operators, and communities passionate about buses. Originally, our website—as its name suggests—focused exclusively on the past, present, and future of Hungarian bus manufacturing. Over time, however, we realized that to keep up with the industry’s cutting edge, we needed to broaden our horizons. Today, Magyarbusz [Info] covers both Hungarian and international developments, becoming the most-read, Hungarian-language portal specializing in buses.

Who are we?

Magyarbusz [Info] was founded in 2011 by two enthusiastic young men, Péter Kun and Gellért Patthy. While one of us leaned towards manufacturing and the other gained experience in operations, we shared a strong dedication to the bus industry. As the site grew in popularity, so did the demands on our time and energy. In 2017, József Ludányi joined our team, bringing fresh momentum. Thanks to him, we were able to increase our content output and readership. József remains an essential part of our team to this day.

Our achievements

We have never had a large budget, so building a loyal readership took time. Nevertheless, our dedication to quality has paid off. Over the years, more and more domestic and international industry events have invited us as official media partners, and many companies now choose to advertise with us or support our work. Thanks to our partners, we have been able to expand our equipment and report from more locations, bringing valuable insights to our audience. In 2023, with the help of our supporters, we launched a complete redesign of our website, raising its appearance to match the quality of our content.

Our goals

We aim to continue our conscientious work, started over a decade ago, and to reach even higher standards. We are gradually expanding our portfolio to include other sectors of the vehicle industry, starting with the establishment of MBI Média Kft., which will unify our various projects. We believe that we can maintain our well-known quality and reliability as we grow and reach even more readers.
