This could even point to a fundamental shift in the Székesfehérvár-based company’s market strategy and partner relationships.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">According to press material sent by Ikarus to our portal, Ikarus Electric Zrt., with a joint bid submitted together with Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. and, as energy partner, EVN Macedonia Elektrosnabduvanje DOOEL, has officially and now finally won the public procurement procedure for the purchase of electric buses and charging stations \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002F15\u002Fujra-versenybe-szallhat-az-ikarus-ismet-kiirtak-a-150-darabos-eszak-macedon-villanybusz-tendert\u002F\">reissued\u003C\u002Fa> by North Macedonia’s Ministry of Transport following the earlier cancellation. As is known, the ministry first \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F04\u002F17\u002Fnagy-darabszamu-villanybusz-tenderen-indult-eszak-macedoniaban-az-ikarus\u002F\">announced the tender this spring\u003C\u002Fa>, which was also \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F04\u002F30\u002Faz-ikarus-nyerte-az-eszak-macedon-kozlekedesi-miniszterium-150-uj-villanybuszra-kiirt-tenderet\u002F\">won by the Ikarus consortium\u003C\u002Fa> at the time, but that victory was \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F05\u002F26\u002Fmegsemmisitettek-az-ikarus-eszak-macedon-tendergyozelmet\u002F\">annulled a few weeks later on formal grounds\u003C\u002Fa>. Delivery of the vehicles will take place in three phases following the signing of the contract: 30 buses and 15 charging units in the first six months, a further 60 buses and 30 chargers within twelve months, and the remaining 60 buses and 30 chargers within eighteen months.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">In its press release, Ikarus describes the result as the first major milestone in the company’s expansion in the Balkans, one that strengthens the brand’s presence in the European electromobility market and, it hopes, creates a solid foundation for further local and regional market growth.
