As this was a distinctly regional exhibition, the spotlight fell on local brands that are highly exotic from our perspective, while market players familiar to us appeared at most as chassis manufacturers, with the obvious exception of the ever-stronger Chinese presence. Although the city bus types on display were characterised by simple execution, the growing importance of comfort and the travel experience was clearly visible in the long-distance segment: premium seating layouts and high-quality interiors attracted considerable attention. Sleeper-type vehicles are also common in this part of the world, just as it is increasingly typical for bus companies to sell tickets in different classes, much like in rail or air transport. The often luxurious interiors are accompanied by striking design, with forms that can seem somewhat overdrawn to European eyes and complex, distinctive headlamp units appearing frequently.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cdiv id=\"attachment_92636\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">\u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002Fbw-sea-vehicles_55296789995_o_cikkbe.jpg\">\u003Cimg loading=\"lazy\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-92636\" class=\"wp-image-92636\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002Fbw-sea-vehicles_55296789995_o_cikkbe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" title=\"\" \u002F>\u003C\u002Fa>\u003Cp id=\"caption-attachment-92636\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">No doubt many of us would be keen to try travelling on the upper deck of Laksana’s luxury double-decker coach\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">One of the key players in the Indonesian bus market is \u003Cstrong> Laksana\u003C\u002Fstrong>, whose stand this year featured as one of its main attractions a bespoke Legacy SR3 Neo Panorama electric long-distance coach built for the Persija Jakarta football club. The vehicle is based on the Hyundai Elec City platform, which we are more familiar with as a \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2025\u002F04\u002F26\u002Fmegerkezett-japanba-az-elso-ot-szeriakivitelu-hyundai-elec-city-town-villanybusz\u002F\">complete city bus type\u003C\u002Fa>. The lithium-polymer traction battery pack, with a total capacity of 290 kWh, supplies a central ZF asynchronous electric motor with a peak output of 240 kW, and on paper allows a range of up to 420 kilometres. That seems somewhat optimistic, although it should be added that, due to the limited axle loads of the chassis, the bus’s maximum permissible gross weight remains slightly below 17 tonnes.
