Budaörs bus haven – Daimler Buses audits HOMM Kft.’s new service center

The label “bus haven” is fitting for HOMM Kft.’s service center in Budaörs. The facility’s technical specifications have been audited and integrated into the system of the world-renowned Daimler Buses. This accreditation allows HOMM-Budaörs to offer OMNIplus services for Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses, while also providing top-notch service for other brands.

With over 30 years of industry experience, the center, located alongside the M1-M7 motorway, incorporates all the lessons learned from building the regional base in Székesfehérvár. It not only meets the most demanding functional needs but is also aesthetically pleasing—a rarity for a complex that combines office buildings and workshops.

The facility boasts a spectacular view, but it’s not for this reason that buses enjoy a privileged status at Vágány Street 10. Spanning 4000 square meters, the site hosts the headquarters of the nationwide network, including management, finance, commercial, and technical departments.

The office building also serves representational purposes. It is the venue for regular meetings of leaders from regional service centers, and negotiations with both domestic and international partners are held here. The main hall of the building, which was occupied a year ago, can also be utilized for conferences or cultural events.

The workshops can simultaneously service, repair, wash, and inspect 12 articulated buses.

With access to Daimler Truck’s online service systems, employees perform bus diagnostic operations, tests, commissioning, and adjustments through the Xentry Truck Portal using a unique diagnostic ID.

Thanks to the modern equipment, tasks such as collision repairs, insurance processing, comprehensive bus frame restoration and painting, as well as air conditioning repair and maintenance, are routine.

Since March 2025, the Budaörs site has been an official technical inspection base.

It facilitates the inspection and pre-inspection preparation of all types and categories of buses, commercial vehicles, and passenger cars, except motorcycles and quads. Buses can undergo international inspections, and ADR inspections are available for trucks.

As an official OMNIplus brand service center, they handle the registration and complete administration of new Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses.

After maintenance on Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses, the required operations are recorded in the online digital service book (DSB).

The modern integrated enterprise management system ensures that documentation of repairs and maintenance done here can be reviewed for years.
